As the name suggests, the Bridge Bed table is primarily designed for bedridden patients. It can be rolled over the bed from the foot end or positioned close to the patient at the bedside. When not in use, the table can easily be pushed aside. For this purpose, the table is equipped with four sturdy, lockable casters. Besides serving as a bed table, it can also be used as a side table for meals while sitting in an armchair or on the sofa, or as a height-adjustable work table.
Three-part tabletop
The tabletop, made of beech laminate, is divided into three sections:
Total tabletop: 120 x 50 cm
Middle panel: 70 x 50 cm
The middle section of the tabletop is tiltable up to 60° and equipped with a retractable lip, offering flexible applications such as working, reading, or eating. The side sections of the table can be used conveniently as storage surfaces.
Individual adjustment of lying or sitting height
The height adjustment is continuously adjustable from 68 to 106 cm and can be optimally adapted to the lying or sitting height. To adjust the height, simply loosen the screws on the left and right sides of the frame and move the tabletop up or down. Once the desired height is reached, tighten the screws again. A scale on the table legs allows reading the height in cm.
